Darren Ferguson has angrily denied reports that he was summoned to a showdown with Peterborough bosses on Sunday to discuss the club's poor league start  - and his uncertain future at London Road.[LNB]Under pressure: Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has hit back at claims he had to meet the club's chairman to discuss the Posh's recent plight[LNB]Manchester United manager Sir Alex's son successfully steered the Posh to back-to-back promotions en route to the Championship but his side have struggled so far this season, lying in 23rd place having recorded just two wins from 15 games.[LNB]And after squandering a one-nil lead in Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Barnsley, it was claimed in The Mirror that Ferguson Jnr was called away from a coaching course in Cardiff on Sunday to attend a summit with club chairman Darragh MacAnthony. [LNB]But incensed over the story, Ferguson hit back, insisting it was completely untrue.[LNB]'It's absolute rubbish.
