The latest gossip and rumours from the newspapers and online:

Chelsea are planning a summer swoop for PSG's EDINSON CAVANI. The Stamford Bridge club saw the 29-year-old's talent at first hand in the Champions League this week and are preparing to break the bank with an offer, according to the Metro.

JOSE MOURINHO is waiting patiently for the Manchester United job, according to the Sun. The former Chelsea manager has reportedly turned down offers from China and Italy.

If and when he gets to Old Trafford Mourinho could make long-time ally ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC one of his marquee signings. The 34-year-old has hinted at a move to the Premier League and United could be his destination on a one-year deal, reports the Mirror.

One player who might not be coming to Manchester United is Inter Milan striker MAURO ICARDI. The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but the Daily Star reckon that PSG will hijack the deal with a £35million bid.

The Evening Standard report that Tottenham manager MAURICIO POCHETTINO is ready to commit himself to the White Hart Lane club. The Argentinian is expected to be sought after in the summer but he is ready to turn down offers from abroad.
