WAYNE ROONEY could be set for a sensational summer exit from Manchester United, according to the Manchester Evening News. United have reportedly received a bid from a Chinese Super League club - a move which could earn the England captain £500,000 a week.

Another player that could be heading to the Chinese Super League is NICKLAS BENDTNER. The Wolfsburg striker is interesting a number of clubs in the emerging league, reports the Daily Mirror, and could earn £100,000 a week.

German newspaper De Bild report that Manchester City will make a move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka. The Premier League club are preparing a £39million bid for the 23-year-old.

Manchester United are in danger of missing out on JOSE MOURINHO, according to the Sun. The out-of-work Portuguese manager is contemplating a return to Serie A giants Inter Milan.

MAURO ICARDI will be one of Mourinho's first targets if he does end up at Old Trafford. The Inter striker is gaining a lot of attention and Mourinho could be willing to splash the cash on the 22-year-old, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.
