Tottenham's Jermaine Jenas accuses referee of 'crumbling' in Manchester United clash

It was like he'd already made his mind up when he came out for the second half that he was going to give something.[LNB]"I think he will definitely admit he got that one wrong. It was a very important moment in the season.[LNB]United's season was almost in ruins because had we won, Liverpool would have been top.[LNB]"OK we went on to concede another four after that which were sloppy goals. But it would have been a completely different game if they had not got that first goal.[LNB]"It's just the way football is sometimes and pressure gets to people – more often than not, these decisions go this way.[LNB]"We knew United would be coming out all guns blazing. But the game was drifting into that period where they would be getting edgy."[LNB]Jenas' comments were backed by Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp who came off the pitch fuming with Webb's decision.[LNB]Insisting there was no hint of a penalty, he said: "It was a terrible mistake by the referee. I told him he had made a big mistake. All he would say was 'If I did, I am sorry'.[LNB]"Even the United players on the pitch were telling our lads they couldn't believe it had been given.[LNB]"The ball went at right angles. How would that have happened if our keeper had not got a full hand on it?" [LNB]
