Tottenham boss Redknapp considering crazy quest to bring Beckham to Spurs - report

Head boy: Milan midfielder Beckham beats Stefano Diana of Torino in the air during last a Serie A clash[LNB]David Beckham could be in line for a sensational return to his London roots by signing for Tottenham, according to astonishing tabloid reports.[LNB]The former England captain, desperate to be selected in Fabio Capello's squad for next summer's World Cup finals in South Africa, has agreed a 'timeshare' deal with his parent club LA Galaxy, which will allow him to remain with AC Milan until the climax of theSerie A campaign.[LNB]The 33-year-old will then return to California to play in the secondhalf of the MLS season. But The Sun newspaper reports that Spurs boss Harry Redknapp may attempt to bring Beckham to White Hart Lane when the MLS season finishes in October.[LNB]Beckham would struggle to force his way into a Spurs side that is resplendent with right-sided options. [LNB]In-form Aaron Lennon,22, has played his way into the Englandstarting XI this season - ahead of Beckham - and David Bentley, 24, theplayer previously dubbed DB II, is also on the Tottenham staff.[LNB]Galaxy, bottom of the MLS Western Conference, began their campaignminus Beckham with a 2-2 draw against DC United and have since drawnthree and lost one of their opening four games.[LNB] MLS soccer chief Don Garber insists he would rather Beckham return to LA Galaxy for half a season than not at all - and his desire for the former Manchester United hero to return is a major flaw in Spurs' alleged plans.
