The infamous 'I will love it' rant from Kevin Keegan stole the headlines during the 1995/96 title race as Newcastle famously collapsed in spectacular fashion.

A 12-point advantage over Manchester United at the turn of the year meant many people had already accepted Newcastle as the league winners.

The tide soon began to turn, but Newcastle still had the chance to clinch the title when the two sides met in March 1996.

The Magpies looked to extend their lead to seven points and bombarded keeper Peter Schmeichel in search of a winning goal.

As the Dane held tight, the stage was set for Eric Cantona to score the only goal of the game, against the run of play and secure victory for United and turn the title race in their favour.
