The dominant Manchester United side of the late 1960's was inspired by the exuberant style of the one-and-only George Best.

The heartache of the Munich disaster just 10 years earlier made their European Cup win, one of the most spectacular in history.

For a side that had endured so much upset and their fair share of defeats along the way, the European win over Benfica at Wembley on 29 May 1968 was a result of their hard work and determination.
