Edwin van der Sar ended his career at Manchester United, having spent 10 years in the Premier League with Fulham and Manchester United. Van der Sar was a major coup for Fulham – and went on to make 100 appearances for the London club. However, the inevitable happened – and Van der Sar was soon on his way to Manchester United.

Commanding performances and incredible athleticism for a a man in his late 30's – his incredible performances helped Man United win four Premier League trophies in his six seasons with the club – as well as The Champions League. Van der Sar earned himself 130 caps for the Dutch national team – making him their most capped player in their history.
