Gary Lineker(Leicester, Everton, Barcelona, Tottenham)Top goalscorer at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, including a hat-trick against Poland,Lineker scored 48 goals in 80 games for his country and is the secondhighest goalscorer in England's history. 4. Gordon Banks(Leicester City, Stoke City)The best goalkeeper to have ever pulled on the England number one jersey. Hissave from Pele's header at the 1970 finals is still rated as thegreatest ever and we're still trying to work out how he did it. 3. Sir Geoff Hurst(West Ham United, Stoke City)Scored an unforgettable hat-trick in the 1966 World Cup final. Sir Geoff will always be part of England folklore. 2. Bobby Moore(West Ham United, Fulham)The consummate defender earned 108 caps for England, captained the side for ten years and when he held aloft the World Cup on that golden day in 1966 he became a legend.
