Carlos Tevez remains in the dark over whether he has a future at Manchester United. The Argentine still does not know whether the UEFA Champions League final against Barcelona next week will be his last in a United shirt. Tevez's Old Trafford future has been the subject of intense debate, with United chief executive David Gill confirming last weekend that he expects some kind of closure on the Argentina star's two-year loan deal in June. Tevez is also yet to find out whether he will be starting the game at the Stadio Olimpico. "Maybe it will be my last game and maybe it won't," he said. "I don't know. "I am not sure whether I will start next week. It is a decision for the manager. "I will prepare well. That is all I can do. I would like to play but there are some very good players here, so I will just wait." Messi threat Despite the ongoing speculation about his future, the 25-year-old prefers to concentrate on Barcelona, and in particular the threat posed by fellow countryman Lionel Messi. "Lionel is a great player," said Tevez. "I have not spoken to him but I do know he is looking forward to the final a great deal. "He is one of the best players in the world and it is going to be difficult for our defenders to stop him. "In my opinion Messi and Ronaldo are the best players in the world, which is one of the reasons this could be such a great game. "There is nothing between them. Messi plays with me for Argentina and Ronaldo for Manchester United, so I am very lucky."
