Tevez baffled why Fergie doesn't pick him as he dreams of Rome farewell

Carlos Tevez claimed he is not angry with Sir Alex Ferguson - just puzzled why he does not start more regularly for Manchester United. The Argentina international must be braced for a place on the substitutes' bench again against Barcelona in the Champions League final but he told Spanish newspaper Sport: 'No, I'm not angry. It's just that I have had no explanation why I don't play more regularly than I do. 'I don't ask but people only see what happens on a Saturday, they don't realise how difficult it is to train hard and not play the next day. And then have to go out and train hard again.' Asked about playing in Rome, Tevez said: 'This is not just another final. It's the Champions League final. It isn't played every day. 'I've been fortunate enough to play in one and enjoyed every minute. To play in another would be special.' Is it a chance to make Ferguson change his mind and push to complete the permanent transfer of the former West Ham player? 'I don't think about that. My mind is just set on returning the love of the fans and winning the final. It is amazing how people in the city live for football.' Do you feel that this will be your farewell to United? 'Could be.' That sounds like it does. 'We'll see.'
