Teenage kicks: United hand trial to 15-year-old Swedish midfielder
Manchester United have handed a trial to 15-year-old Swedish midfielder Linus Sjoberg.
The young midfielder currently plays for Swedish first division outfit Vasteras in Stockholm and has been identified as one to watch by United's Scandinavian scouting network.
'You have to be cautious dealing with the social and footballing parts as the social environment is important when you are younger,' the teenager's agent Martin Klette told Fotbollskanalen when pushed on news of the player's future.
'People have a tendency to focus on younger players that have had problems abroad and forget that there are very good clubs to grow in abroad.'
