VfB Stuttgart boss Markus Babbel believes Klaas-Jan Huntelaar would be an ideal signing for the club. Real Madrid have accepted an offer for Huntelaar and it is believed that the Holland international is open to a move to Germany. And, while the striker has yet to make a firm decision, Babbel feels he is the right man to take the club forwards after Mario Gomez joined Bayern Munich. "He would fit right in," he told Stuttgarter Zeitung. "He is the sort of quality hitman we are looking for. "We haven't been doing any business on that sort of level yet, but we need a suitable replacement for Mario Gomez and that's why we went for him. "It's not about spending €3 million on someone - that wouldn't help us. We need genuine quality." He added: "Personally, I don't feel it is important whether he signs today or tomorrow. "It is more important to know that he is going to sign." German newspaper Bild has claimed that Huntelaar is happy with the terms of the Stuttgart deal but has asked for further to time to allow Manchester United or Milan to enter the bidding.
