A steward with 19 years service under his belt has been sacked by Manchester United's security firm after he was caught wth an anti Glazer banner that he was going to return to its owners. Granville Boden was dismissed by CES for taking a confiscated banner reading 'Love United, Hate Glazer' to give back to its rightful owners. The banner was taken from fans on Jan 16th in the game against Burnley, fans were also ejected from the ground for voicing their feelings. Boden claims that dissent is rife amongst Old Trafford staff. He told The Times: "There is a lot of internal conflict between the staff and I think that conflict is only going to grow as the protests against the Glazers gather more momentum. "There are a lot of staff at the club who are sympathetic to what the Manchester United Supporters' Trust (MUST) are trying to achieve. I don't regret anything I did."
