Sparky Safe At QPR

Ex-United star Mark Hughes looks to be safe in his job at QPR after chairman Tony Fernandes has once again come out in support for the manager.

Things are not rosy for Hughes at Loftus Road, after spending a lot of cash the team sit bottom of the Premier League with just three points from nine games.

But Fernandes is not going to panic just yet, on Thursday night on QPR's London Call-In show he said.

"You can't blame Mark for the position we're in but we're a vastly more consistent team than we were.

"The team has got the makings of a great team and Mark can get the best out of them."
