Dickson gives the ball away to the Welshman who feeds a perfect ball into the feet of Javier Hernandez The Mexican ends up on the floor buthis shot creeps under Bialkowski and into the corner.[LNB]75min: Chamberlain has not disappointed, he goes on another run but this time 23 yards out to goal, he drags a shot just wide.[LNB]73min: First change from the Saints as full-back Ryan Dickson replaces Barnard.[LNB]71min: Hold that it's not all one way traffic! From a corner Harding from a tight angle rockets a shot across goal that goes just wide.[LNB]68min: A few worried faces now, United are on top and you just sense this is only going to end in tears for the hosts.[LNB]65min: GOAL! Southampton 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED[LNB]He makes up for it though! Obertan shows his first bit of skill on the night to get a cross in from the right and after it's deflected, Michael Owen sharp as a razor heads the loose ball into the bottom corner. Get that man back into the England squad![LNB]64min: About as close as United have come. Nani sends a great ball to the near post but Owen can only steer a first time effort over the bar.[LNB]The sort of chance the 1998 version would have scored.[LNB]63min: Chaplow brings down Scholes on the left and United have a free-kick.[LNB]Giggs whips in a cross but Evans' header is weak and straight at Bialkowski.[LNB]61min: This is very unlike United. They still cannot string two passes together and this is very easy for the hosts who have played the much better football.[LNB] In a tangle: Owen (left) and Harding battle for the ball[LNB]58min: Right on cue, Giggs replaces Gibson and Nani is on for Anderson. Danny Butterfield sends in a superb deep cross and unmarked eight yards out, Guly heads over. BIG CHANCE.[LNB]42min: This game is in dire need of a goal. the game is lowing by the minute and both sides seem content to go to half-time 0-0.[LNB]39min: United just starting to edge the possession but in way are the League one side under pressure. Fabio has been the visitors only real bright spark.[LNB]36min: Chances are few and far between but as a spectacle it's very interesting to watch.[LNB]Saints are closing down every United player and are the better side but haven't quite had the luck in the final third.[LNB]33min: Obertan finally gets into the game...but wastes a good chance. Anderson and Gibson have been giving the ball away while the likes of Gabriel Obertan and Hernandez have hardly featured.[LNB]28min: They just seem to lack leadership do United, no Vidic or Ferdinand is really hurting them they do not look comfortable at all.[LNB]25min: Another free-kick for Saints after Darron Gibson needlessly takes away the feet of Morgan Schneiderlin.[LNB]From 30 yards Lambert drills another shot just over the bar. He does hit them with some power too.[LNB]22min: Good cup tie this, Saints are edging it and Evans takes no chances on Harding's cross, heading over his own bar.[LNB]19min: Saints win a free-kick 25 yards out but Lambert's strike is just over the bar, good effort mind.[LNB]17min: Don't think Owen intended this but he comes mighty close to putting United in front. His cross from the right lobs Bialkowski and crashes off the inside of the far post before bouncing to safety.[LNB]15min: Good hit that. A cross in the box is slightly behind Ricky Lambert but he adjusts his body well to hit a volley towards the corner.[LNB]It slightly lacks power however and Anders Lindegaard comfortably takes.[LNB] On the run: Manchester United's Anderson (left) attempts to escape the attention of Saints' Richard Chaplow[LNB]13min: Of course much of the focus will be on young Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this evening.[LNB]He has started off fine though, no doubt aware that the spotlight is on him.[LNB]10min: Michael Owen seems to be playing in a deeper role this evening, but it has not harmed him too much, with his right foot strike from 18 yards just wide of the post.[LNB]7min: Southampton have the ball in the net but Dan Harding is ruled marginally offside inside the box. Correct call but United are under the cosh.[LNB]6min: Saints are getting stronger and a series of long balls in the box is troubling the visitors.[LNB]3min: Bright enough start from the Saints as they look to take the game towards United.[LNB]Kick-off: We are underway at St Mary's[LNB]17.10: Anders Lindegaard is handed his Manchester United debut in the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Southampton at St Mary's.[LNB]The Danish goalkeeper, who joined the Red Devils earlier in the transfer window, is one of a raft of changes made by manager Sir Alex Ferguson, with only Javier Hernandez and Jonny Evans remaining from the third-round defeat of Liverpool.[LNB]Southampton manager Nigel Adkins, meanwhile, decides to drop influential goalkeeper Kelvin Davis to the bench in favour of Bartosz Bialkowski, who started for Saints in the previous two rounds.[LNB]17.05: If Southampton will have learned anything over the last few days, it's that two goal leads are far from safe - especially against Manchester United.[LNB]United produced a stunning second half-comeback to score three times without reply in their 3-2 win at Blackpool.
