So what do we know about this Ghanaian goalkeeper who could be facing Manchester United? You mean Richard Kingson, although he's also registered with UEFA as Richard Kingston. Ghana got that one wrong at the 2006 World Cup as well, but he still wore 'Kingson' on his shirt. His younger brother Laryea plays for Hearts in Scotland, but he goes by the name 'Kingston'. Don't ask. So he's got two names? Three actually, and that's not including his nickname Oleley. He played in Turkey for nine years and became a Turkish citizen, calling himself Faruk Gursoy. It would be rude not to. So did he play for any big clubs in Turkey? Yes and no. Galatasaray, but he only made one appearance there. The others were Sakaryaspor, Antalyaspor, Elazigspor and Ankaraspor twice. Basically any club ending in 'spor'. Oh, and Goztepe. Didn't he play in Ghana? Yes, for Rago International, Agbozume Weavers and Accra Great Olympics, but he was spotted helping Ghana Under-23s to qualify for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He's now rated as the best keeper in Africa and was voted third at the 2006 World Cup behind Gianluigi Buffon and Ricardo. The 30-year-old has 58 senior caps for his country, not to mention the goal he scored against Tanzania last year.
