Sir Alex Ferguson: United miss 'Ronaldo' wow factor but hails his side for not giving up

Sir Alex Ferguson believes Manchester United have missed the 'Cristiano Ronaldo' factor the past two seasons but has been impressed with the way his side have dealt with it.[LNB]Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid in a record-breaking ?80million deal in the summer of 2009 after six seasons at Old Trafford.[LNB]United have missed the goal threat that the Portuguese winger used to be provide but Ferguson still believes his players had 'great moments'.[LNB] Superstar: Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid in a ?80m move two years ago and has been sensational[LNB]'This team might not have the 'Ronaldo' factor, but it doesn't understand the word defeat. It's determined, gritty and very professional, and it's produced some great moments,' Ferguson told Inside United. [LNB]'It's not as if we've been devoid of that ['fantasy'].
