Sir Alex Ferguson doesn't blame me for Blackburn sacking Sam Allardyce, claims Steve Kean

ShareSteve Kean spoke for the first time yesterday about Sir Alex Ferguson's fury over Sam Allardyce's sacking at Blackburn, and insisted: 'I know he doesn't blame me.' [LNB] [LNB]Ferguson launched a broadside against Blackburn for dispensing with his close friend earlier this season and is widely thought to be relishing the prospect of clinching Manchester United's 19th title at their expense on Saturday.[LNB] All smiles: Sam Allardyce (left) shares a joke with Sir Alex Ferguson (top right)[LNB] But Kean, who controversially stepped up from assistant-manager to fill Allardyce's shoes, is adamant his conscience is clear, ahead of his Ewood Park showdown with United counterpart Ferguson.[LNB] 'I didn't need any assurances from Sir Alex that the things he said at the time were not aimed at me,' he said. 'I knew it wasn't personal and that it was simply a case of him backing Sam, which I respect and understand.[LNB] 'He never said anything negative or derogatory about me, and the fact is, we get on really well. Seeing a friend lose his job comes as a shock, and Sir Alex is going to back his friend.[LNB] Caught in the middle: Steve Kean is adamant his conscience is clear[LNB] 'I've no problem with that or with Sir Alex. I've known him many years. We're from a similar area in Glasgow and have met up numerous times in the past in 10 years.[LNB] 'I saw him last night, when our Reserves played United's at Old Trafford, and he complimented us on how our young lads played.
