Shaw set for Dale return
Rochdale striker Jon Shaw is set to make his first appearance of pre-season when Keith Hill's side face a Manchester United XI at Spotland on Monday night.
Shaw has shaken off a dead leg but fellow forward Adam Le Fondre could miss out after picking up a minor thigh injury during the warm up for Saturday's 4-1 defeat at home to Everton.
Hill is expected to take a closer look at trialists Marlon Broomes and Nathan Woolfe who made substitute appearances against the Toffees.
