Shaqiri Interesting United?

Man United are said to be taking notice of the goings on around Basel starlet Xherdan Shaqiri. The 20 year old was going to be joining Galatasaray, but that move has now collapsed after the two clubs cannot agree a transfer fee.

The Turkish outfit are said to be offering £10 million for the attacking midfielder but Basel want £15 million.

Setanta sports claim that United have been keeping an eye on Shaqiri and may use this opportunity to hijack the move.
