Second chance for United fledglings

30 November 2009 10:51
SIR Alex Ferguson is set to hand another chance to the men who slipped to defeat against Besiktas last week when Manchester United look to reach the Carling Cup semi-finals at the expense of Tottenham at Old Trafford on Tuesday. Teenage duo Federico Macheda and Danny Welbeck may start up front, although Michael Owen's experience could also be used as the holders try to defend their crown. Rafael Da Silva could be included at right-back to give veteran Gary Neville a rest after two games in four days, while Ben Foster is expected to replace Tomasz Kuszczak in goal. Manchester United (from): Foster, Kuszczak, Amos, Neville, De Laet, Brown, Vidic, Jonny Evans, Corry Evans, Evra, Rafael, Obertan, Valencia, Gibson, Anderson, Fletcher, Carrick, Nani, Park, Tosic, Berbatov, Rooney, Owen, King, James, Macheda, Welbeck. Which team should United select against Tottenham? Have your say.
