[LNB]He said: 'I just hope he gets the award he deserves because longevity should be rewarded. He is an example to young people because of his humility. He is in the best form of his career right now. [LNB]'He is God in the dressing room. You can see the warmth he generates and young players go to him and seek his advice. [LNB]'We will certainly be offering him a new contract for next season, when he'll be 37. That is what we think of him. He has been amazingly consistent. [LNB]'Scholesy seemed to be uncertain about his future. Well, we are sure and we will be offering him a contract, too, and he knows that.' [LNB]Ferguson, whose team face Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Saturday, has, however, ruled out signing another veteran, the former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell. [LNB]The link to Campbell, 35, raised fresh concerns over United's financial strength due to the club's £699million debt and minimal net spending of £32.4million since the Glazer family became owners in 2005. [LNB]But Ferguson ruled out fears of belt-tightening at Old Trafford by insisting that he has money to spend in the transfer market. 'It's been suggested we were moving for Sol Campbell because we don't have the money and we wanted to take somebody cheap. [LNB]'He is not a player we are thinking about. But the money is there if I want to use it. It was there in the summer if I wanted to use it, but I didn't think there was any value in the market. [LNB]'The prices we were quoted for players were not reasonable. There is a danger that this situation could continue for a while because there is a World Cup and a young player could emerge and there could be an escalation in his value. [LNB]"But yes, we can use the money. But I'm not thinking of buying in January.'[LNB]Ferguson has ruled out a January loan move for goalkeeper Ben Foster, but he confirmed United will apply for a work permit for Senegalese forward Mame Biram Diouf.
