Ryan Giggs happy to wait for his chance at Manchester United
Ryan Giggs is not worried about his lack of games so far this season and remains confident he still has an important role to play at Manchester United.
The Welshman, who turns 39 next month, has started only three games for United this term, but is hoping to be called upon for Sunday's match at Chelsea.
Giggs' experience is often utilised in big fixtures and the midfielder retains the appetite to be involved as much as possible for United.
"I'd love to play in this game," said Giggs. "I have started the last few games we've had at Stamford Bridge and have enjoyed every minute.
"I am sure that when players finish it's the games like this that they miss most of all, so I want to make the most of these occasions.
"But I know it's hard for the manager, there's a lot of players in good form. It's not a new thing for me, not getting in the team every week.
"I have got used to it. I don't worry too much because I know that come the business end of the season I'll be ready, I'll be fit and the manager will use me.
"I'll bide my time. I know I'll play enough games come the end of the season.
"I think I provide a bit of experience, but I still do what I've always done, providing goals and trying to score a few."
