Cristiano Ronaldo does not believe Wayne Rooney would consider joining Real Madrid - but he hopes Fabio Capello will move to the Bernabeu.[LNB] Reports earlier this week suggested Real were lining up a double swoop for Rooney and his national team boss Fabio Capello.[LNB]However, Ronaldo - who moved to the Bernabeu last summer - feels his former Manchester United team-mate will remain in Old Trafford.[LNB]He told the News of the World: "I am still friends with Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic at Manchester United.[LNB]"I think Rooney is very happy in Manchester and even if Real Madrid tried to sign him, I don't think he would want to join me here."[LNB]However, the Portuguese admits he would like to play under Capello with current incumbent Manuel Pellegrini's future unclear.[LNB]"Definitely," he added. "He is a very important coach, one of the best in the world, he has done a fantastic job in England and has won many titles in Italy so why not?[LNB]"You never know."[LNB]The 25-year-old, who will travel to the World Cup this summer, believes "England are one of the best teams" in South Africa and wished them luck to "do nice things".[LNB]Last time the teams met saw Ronaldo accused of helping get Rooney sent off in the infamous winking incident.[LNB]Rather than regret the incident and subsequent furore, however, Ronaldo admits he would do it again.[LNB]"I must be honest, if the same thing happened with England and Wayne Rooney that happened in 2006, I would do the same.[LNB]"I didn't do anything wrong. I just defended the colours of my country.[LNB]"That is all that I did and I feel fine about what happened."
