Rooney wants more goals

As a team we're always encouraged by the manager to work hard and improve.[LNB]"I don't feel think I am the finished article as I believe even the best players in the world can always get better."[LNB]PressureUnited take on Stoke at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday looking to keep up the pressure on league leaders Chelsea, and Rooney believes playing in different positions in recent seasons has helped him improve.[LNB]"As a team we have started the season very well and I think playing in different positions over the years has helped my own personal game," he added.[LNB]"You have a different view on everything. Playing up front and feeling confident about scoring goals, makes me believe I can do better than last year's total."[LNB]While, Rooney is in excellent form, team-mate Dimitar Berbatov has yet to win over all the fans at Old Trafford, but the former Everton youngster insists the Bulgarian is playing an important role at the club.[LNB]"I wouldn't agree with those who said he had a dreadful season," he said.[LNB]"He won the Premier League and reached the Champions League final, and fully played his part in those successes. He still got criticised but he's a class act and has come back with a real desire about him his year."[LNB]
