Manchester United star Wayne Rooney is aiming to beat his 20-goal return from last season. Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez have departed Old Trafford this summer and attention is now turning to Rooney - who knows the pressure will be on him much more next season. But after hitting 20 last season, Rooney is confident he will surpass that mark in the coming campaign. "I have always said I would like to score more goals than the previous season so that is what I am aiming for again this time," he told the club's official website. "If I can do that I will be really happy." He insists that United will cope without the likes of Ronaldo and Tevez. "There are a lot of great players in our team and we know if we all work together then we are capable of achieving great things," he concluded.
