// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Wayne Rooney has admitted that he could miss Manchester United's clash with CSKA Moscow to be at the birth of his first child.[LNB] The 23-year-old's wife, Coleen, is due to give birth on the 24th October - also the striker's birthday - just three days after United travel to Moscow for their UEFA Champions League clash.[LNB]The Red Devils may have won their opening two Champions League games but the match in Russia threatens to be their toughest European test of the season so far.[LNB]If the baby arrives later than expected then the England international could miss the champions' game with Liverpool at Anfield on the 25th October.[LNB]However, manager Sir Alex Ferguson may have something to say about that especially if Michael Owen is still sidelined with the groin injury he picked up against Wolfsburg on Wednesday.[LNB]"Of course I want to be there for the birth of my child and if anything happens around the days of travelling then I'm sure I'll stay back and won't go but unless that happens I will be there playing," Rooney explained.[LNB]"It's due a few days after. Of course it's a long way (to Moscow) but I've got a job to go and play for United so unless anything happens then I'll be there."[LNB]
