Rooney - It's ours to lose

Wayne Rooney believes the Premier League title is now Man United's to lose after the Red Devils staged an amazing comeback against Spurs.[LNB] United appeared to be heading to a defeat which would have blown the title race wide open after going two goals down at half-time to Harry Redknapp's side.[LNB]But a controversial penalty decision proved the catalyst for a dramatic five goal comeback which saw United re-establish their three points lead on Liverpool, having played a game less.[LNB]The victory invoked memories of United's win over Everton in April 2007 for Rooney, when the Red Devils came from two goals down to win 4-2 to go on to lift the title.[LNB]Rooney, who scored in both comebacks, said: "It is ours to lose now.[LNB]Great feeling"If we win it, we might look back on this game. It always gives you a great feeling to come from behind and win any game. I remember that Everton game very well.[LNB]"This is similar. It is a great step for us."[LNB]Rooney gave special praise to Carlos Tevez, believing the Argentinean's introduction at the start of the second period was a big factor in sealing the win.[LNB]"The first half was really poor," admitted Rooney. "We were flat and we needed a lift.[LNB]Big reason"Carlos provided it. He got the crowd up and started to find space. He was a big reason why we got the result."[LNB]Rooney now believes the feel good factor created by the win can help the Red Devils against Arsenal in their UEFA Champions League tie on Wednesday.[LNB]"If we had not won the place might have been a bit flat but winning the way we did will give us great confidence and belief going into the Arsenal game," he said.[LNB]
