Wayne Rooney has revealed the opportunity to rewrite history has gripped the Manchester United dressing room.[LNB] The Red Devils have already claimed World Club Cup and Carling Cup glory this season, but remain on course to add Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup crowns to that haul.[LNB]Should Sir Alex Ferguson's men prove successful in their quintuple quest, they will achieve an unprecedented feat in modern football.[LNB]Rooney admits that opportunity has caught the imagination of a squad desperate to end the 2008/09 campaign with an impressive medal collection.[LNB]"All the players are talking about what we can do because it has never been done before," said the England international.[LNB]"It's all we talk about at the moment - how good it would be if we could go all the way in every competition.[LNB]Determination"There is a lot of determination now to do it.[LNB]"I suppose there would be a lot of disappointment if we didn't win everything now.[LNB]"I don't want to sound greedy, but at United there is always a duty to win everything you play for and every time we lose a game there is a lot of disappointment around the place.[LNB]"I'd gladly take two of the three trophies left to play for now, but, yes, we do want to win the lot.[LNB]"We know it's going to be hard but it is in our hands.[LNB]"We are in a great position at the moment. We've got a chance to win everything and there is a real determination not to throw anything away."[LNB]
