Ronaldo: United doing well without me

Cristiano Ronaldo does not believe Manchester United are missing him despite his contribution at Old Trafford before his move to Real Madrid.[LNB] The 25-year-old moved to the Bernabeu last summer after six seasons with the Red Devils, where he became pivotal both domestically and in the Champions League.[LNB]His goalscoring and attacking contribution meant the Portuguese's absence was always going to be apparent, although Wayne Rooney has stepped up in front of goal this season.[LNB]The Portugal international told Sky Sports News: "Without me Manchester United have done very good things.[LNB]"They have won the (Carling) Cup, they are in the fight for the league.[LNB]"They have been knocked out of the Champions League but in my opinion Manchester deserved to be in the semi-finals but in football things happen. I wish the best for Manchester. It is always special."[LNB]
