Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has declared he is happy at Old Trafford.

For the past two summers the 24-year-old has dominated the headlines with his on-off transfer saga with Real Madrid.

Even after publicly declaring his happiness to stay at the club earlier in the season the rumours over his long-term future would not go away.

But with United looking to sweep all before them this term the Portuguese ace has admitted he is not interested in leaving.

"I feel very happy where I am now. I feel very happy in Manchester," he told Sky Sports News.

"Manchester are challenging for titles and I have to appreciate that. Maybe the other clubs don't have an opportunity like us.

"As for the future, only God knows. I prefer to speak about the present and the present is brilliant.

Very happy"Manchester play well and I feel very happy here and I want to stay here."

The current FIFA World Player of the Year is determined to repeat the kind of success he achieved last year both individually and with the team.

"It's always important to win individual things. I had the opportunity to win last season some special awards for me but we have to mention the collective," he added.

"The Champions League was an amazing feeling and the league too."

Ronaldo is also quick to point out the man behind all his success.

"The boss gave me the opportunity to work better and better and with more experience. He gave me the chance," he highlighted.

"He taught me a few important things. I must appreciate that. I like that."
