Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted that he has accepted his Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson's recent criticism of him.[LNB] The United boss publically condemned the Portuguese ace after he twice gave the ball away in two different games against Aston Villa and Porto to damaging consequences.[LNB]On both occasions United were punished as the two teams broke away to score with Ronaldo preferring to loosely claim for a foul rather than try and atone for his error and track back.[LNB]The Scot indicated that he had also had a quiet word with the current World Player of the Year over his petulant appeals for free-kicks and it seems the winger has taken note.[LNB]Ronaldo was the match-winner as the holders knocked out Porto at Estadio do Dragao 1-0 in their midweek UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie thanks to a blistering 40-yard strike from the former Sporting Lisbon ace.[LNB]"It is not a problem," Ronaldo, who started United's 2-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday on the bench, said.[LNB]"I always respect the manager and coaches because I want to learn. If he says that, it is because he thinks it is true.[LNB]Important goals"But I think I have been playing well and I have scored a few important goals."[LNB]The Portugal international firmly believes that United can use Wednesday's performance to kick-start their bid to better last season's trophy haul.[LNB]"We have an opportunity to win everything and we are very confident that we can," he added.[LNB]"We did not play fantastic in the last five or six games but we expect the next ones will be better because of what we did last night."[LNB]
