Digital Sports Group announce Manchester United striker Robin van Persie wins second successive PFA Fans' Player of the Month award. There are awards also for Wilfried Zaha, Gary Liddle and Tom Pope this month.

Premier League: Robin van Persie – Manchester United

The reigning PFA Players Player of the year, PFA Fans' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year, Robin van Persie shows no sign of slowing down after his prolific start to the season at new club Manchester United as he lays claim to yet another award. After winning last months PFA Fans' Player of the Month poll, the summer signing has again been voted the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for October.

The Manchester United front man has made a string of impressive appearances this month for the Red Devils, most notably against top of the table rivals Chelsea. Van Persie and United started the game at an incredible pace, scoring twice in the opening fifteen minutes with Van Persie firing against the post and seeing his shot rebound into the goal off David Luiz. The second goal was all his own making, firing the ball into the goal emphatically from Antonio Valencia's pull back on the right wing. Chelsea were back on level terms with goals either side of half-time but the crucial third goal came from United after RVP saw his smart shot stopped by Petr Cech with Hernandez pouncing on the rebound to grab the winner.

Football League Championship: Wilfried Zaha – Crystal Palace

Having gone unbeaten throughout October – Crystal Palace stormed up the Football Championship table, where they currently sit first. Wilfried Zaha won the PFA Championship player of the month no doubt due to Crystal Palace scoring 11 goals in the month of October. The 4-3 victory over Burnley was no doubt Zaha's best performance, with 2 goals to his name as Palace came from 2-0 down to win the tie 4-3. Crystal Palace look like the team to beat this season in the Championship. With Wilfried Zaha playing like this, Palace may return to the Premier League after a 7 year absence.

Wilfried Zaha recently has been called up to the England squad due to his impressive performance's for Palace. They will be keen to keep the forward amid interest from Premier League sides. Crystal Palace have placed a £20million price tag on Zaha, who has claimed he is 50/50 on whether he will represent England or Ivory Coast. With four goals already this season the forward will be key to the success of Crystal Palace.

Football League One: Gary Liddle – Notts County

Having played 6 league games this month, Notts County now find themselves 7th in League One. Able to play across midfield and defence – his versatality is key to Notts County's hopes for promotion this season. Notts County went throughout October conceding on average of less than two goals a game. Liddle played every game for Notts County this month with performances in midfield and defence – the 26 year old and his versatality will be a key player for Notts County this season as they desperately seek promotion.

It is now two months in a row in which Liddle has played in every game for Notts County. The ever reliable, versatile player has been a key signing from Hartlepool and he will be expected by Keith Curle to maintain his impressive performances throughout the season for Notts County in their quest for Championship football.

Football League Two: Tom Pope – Port Vale

Tom Pope won our PFA Player of The Month Award for his five goals in a Port Vale shirt this season. Port Vale earned 11 points in October, with 3 wins to their name. They currently find themselves second in League Two and are looking good contenders for promotion. Tom Pope has 17 goals in all competitions for Port Vale this season, and the striker will be a crucial part of Micky Adams' plans for promotion this season.

Pope is currently the leading goal scorer in League Two and with Port Vale currently second in League Two they are well placed to return to League One Football.
