Rio Ferdinand: I've put my injury problems behind me

Rio Ferdinand has good news for his boss Sir Alex Ferguson andEngland chief Fabio Capello after insisting that the back problemswhich have dogged his season have been sorted. [LNB]The 31-year-old has managed just 13 games for United and was unableto take up his role as new England captain because of injury thismonth. [LNB]But after earning praise for his display alongside Nemanja Vidicagainst AC Milan in midweek, the centreback is confident he can showhis fitness again today against Fulham in the Premier League. [LNB]'I'm feeling very good. It's just nice to be playing again. Two games in a week, yet in the last couple of months I've not been able to imagine playing once so it's good to be in this position.' [LNB]Having regained his fitness, Ferdinand now takes each match as it comes. England and the World Cup will only become a priority when he has dealt with domestic issues.[LNB] He said: 'I only think about what's going on now at United.
