Report: United plan Singapore IPO

Manchester United are planning to raise one billion US dollars (£610m) by selling shares on the Singapore stock market, according to reports.[LNB] The Wall Street Journal has reported that the Premier League champions will carry out an initial public offering (IPO) in the Asian state later this year.[LNB]It has been reported that the club were planning to sell shares in Hong Kong but have now switched their attention to Singapore.[LNB]United were listed on the London Stock Exchange until being taken over by the Glazer family in a deal worth close to £800million in 2005.[LNB]United have not commented on the reports.
