Report: England call on Cleverley

Tom Cleverley is understood to have been called up to the England squad for Wednesday's friendly against Holland.[LNB] Cleverley is back at United after spending last season on loan at Wigan Athletic and he impressed as a second-half substitute in Sunday's Community Shield win over Manchester City.[LNB]Cleverley was heavily involved in United's second goal with the final flick before Nani's equaliser.[LNB]"It was a big game for us, and to show we can win with a young team in the second half is very good for the club. This is good experience for me to try and stake a claim this year," Cleverley told BBC Radio 5 Live.[LNB]The youngster has previously represented England's Under-21s, but Sky Sports understands has been drafted into the senior squad for the first time by coach Fabio Capello.[LNB]
