Redknapp - Title sewn up

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp expects Manchester United to be crowned champions come May, but has vowed to go for the win when the sides meet at Old Trafford on Saturday.[LNB] United are currently three points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a game in hand over their nearest rivals Liverpool.[LNB]Redknapp himself, whose former West Ham side thwarted the Red Devils from clinching the title in 1995, expects that such an advantage will be almost unassailable considering the experience of Sir Alex Ferguson's men.[LNB]"United have it more or less sewn up now," said Redknapp. [LNB]"I would be surprised if they lost the title from here. They are three points clear with a game in hand, so they are in a great position. [LNB]"You are asking United to lose two of their final six matches, which is a tall order."[LNB]Spurs formUnited do not have the most straightforward run-in though, with Tottenham themselves chasing their fifth win in six games - much to their manager's delight.[LNB]"I feel we're in great form and playing great football, passing and moving, a joy to watch," Redknapp added.[LNB]"You never go to Old Trafford expecting an easy game, but it's a great game to look forward to in our position. We're out the relegation scrap and relaxed so we can go there and play in great form.[LNB]"We're not going to go there and sit back, we're going to have a real go and see what we can do."[LNB]European aimWith Tottenham just one point off West Ham in seventh, the club could be in line for a place in the newly-formed Europa League next season.[LNB]And Redknapp feels that after battling back from a dreadful start to the campaign, securing European competition would be a wonderful reward for his players' efforts.[LNB]"I want to get into it (Europe)," he declared.[LNB]"It's a feather in the cap for everyone to qualify for Europe from where we were. It would be a terrific achievement so that is the ambition. We'll do our best.[LNB]"If we could finish seventh it would be fantastic, but the advantage lies with Fulham and West Ham as they have three home games each.[LNB]"In the last eight games we are top of the form table so we're in terrific form. We're on a great run and want to keep that going as long as we can."[LNB]
