Rafa - Hard to say who's best

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez believes winning the title will not necessarily mean Manchester United are the best team in the country. United will secure a third consecutive Premier League crown on Saturday by avoiding defeat at home to Arsenal and will also match Liverpool's record of 18 top-flight titles. The Red Devils have been pushed all the way by Benitez's Liverpool, who led the table until the second half of the season. Benitez does not wish to draw firm conclusions about who can be classed as the best team in England, believing the champions are merely the team who have won the most points. Respect "It's the team that has more points, that's all," said Benitez. "Sometimes they can be the best at the beginning, in the middle or maybe with consistency, but it just means they have more points. "It depends on the time of the season. I don't think I ever said we were playing the best out of everyone, maybe just at certain moments. "I do have a lot of respect for the other teams, but to say who is the best at one moment is not easy - there are a lot of good teams in the Premier League." Ahead of Sunday's trip to struggling West Brom, Benitez revealed his determination to beat Liverpool's best points total in the Premier League. Very positive He added: "It's always important to have some targets. "We always have to think positive. We need to get three points in our game and if we can still fight for the title, then we will still fight, but if not, then we will fight for second. "For us, 80 points is really good - 82 is our best ever total in the Premier League. It would be fantastic to match that, although to finish with 86 points would be much better. "I am pleased because we have been more consistent. It's very positive and good for the future. "We will try to do our job in our remaining games and see what happens."
