Portugal coach and former Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz believes Cristiano Ronaldo will fulfil a dream upon joining Real Madrid.[LNB] Queiroz has first hand experience of what is in store for Ronaldo at the Bernabeu, as in 2003 he made the same switch from Old Trafford to the Spanish capital.[LNB]The Portuguese tactician's spell at the helm of Madrid was disappointing though, as he was sacked after just a year before returning to Manchester to resume his role as Sir Alex Ferguson's right-hand man.[LNB]He has since moved on to coach his homeland and although his own tenure in Madrid was short-lived, he feels his compatriot will flourish at one of the world's most glamorous clubs.[LNB]Dream move"I want to congratulate Cristiano," Queiroz said to the Portuguese media.[LNB]"This is a dream that had been there for a year, or at least since I've known him.[LNB]"Just like (former Portuguese internationals) Luis Figo and Rui Costa, Ronaldo is an example of a talented player, who through his past work coupled with the serious and rigorous preparation done at their clubs and with the federation, has allowed him to culminate his dream."[LNB]When asked whether the world-record transfer fee of £80million that Madrid have agreed to pay United for Ronaldo is justifiable, Queiroz said: "That is something that Real Madrid have to weigh up."
