Pardew Accuses Van Persie

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew last night accused Manchester United striker Robin van Persie of sticking the elbow into the face of Yohan Cabaye.

Now he is asking the FA to look at the incident that took place in the 84th minute of the game, long after all hope had gone for Toon. The referee didn't see the incident and so there was no action taken.

If the FA do look at the incident and say that Van Persie is guilty, he could be handed a three match ban.

“He has looked at Yohan and elbowed him,” moaned Pardew.

“That has to be looked at."
