Michael Owen has admitted that getting his hands on a Premier League Winners medal is the highlight of his career so far, out doing all that he won with Liverpool. The 31-year-old won a fair bit with the Anfield side before he made his move to Old Trafford in 2009, both the UEFA and FA Cup had been won by Owen, but this is the first time he has been able to get his hands on the Premier League trophy. Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Owen said: "I won a lot of trophies with Liverpool, but to win the Premier League is the pinnacle of anyone's career. I'm very proud. "I've not played as much as I did last year, but we all have to play our part to win the league and it's been enjoyable, nonetheless. "I'm really pleased and proud to have played with a great crop of lads and obviously the manager's second to none." Like us on FACEBOOK
