O`Shea blow for United

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that John O'Shea has been ruled out for five weeks with a hamstring injury. The Republic of Ireland defender limped out of Tuesday's Champions League win over Marseille and faces a spell on the sidelines. "It's not a good one," said Ferguson, who will also be without skipper Nemanja Vidic for Saturday's encounter with Bolton at Old Trafford due to a calf injury. "Vidic won't make it," confirmed Ferguson. "He is showing good recovery for this week and should be OK after the international break but not enough for Saturday." Ferguson also confirmed he expected Rafael, who, after replacing O'Shea on Tuesday, also limped off, to be out for "two to three weeks".
