Olympic Stadium move looks a real option for Tottenham Hotspur

The club appears to be taking the Stratford option more seriously than that however after planning objections added £20m to the costs and forced the club to cut the number of residential properties by 200.

That has contributed to a £60m increase in costs, and with Transport for London yet to offer an acceptable deal for the necessary redevelopment of Tottenham Hale station, the Olympic Stadium with its excellent transport links looks a real option for Spurs.

The key question for supporters opposed to the American's stewardship is whether the Glazers have taken a dividend from the club.

The bond issue allows them to take £100m, but with £80m having flowed from the sale of Ronaldo, any significant take-out from the club's cash reserves will further enrage the green-and-gold campaign.
