Despite their penalty shoot-out defeat to Everton, one bright spot for Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday was the performance of 18-year-old Brazilian twins Fabio and Rafael Da Silva.Sir Alex Ferguson has tipped the defenders to become first-team regulars and they look set to begin a family dynasty at Manchester United. Here, Sportsmail looks at five of the best footballing brothers.[LNB]Bobby and Jack CharltonSir Bobby hold the all-time scoring records for Manchester United (247 goals in 754 games) and England (49 goals in 106 games). He won the league many times, was named European Footballer of the Year in 1966 and captained United to the European Cup in 1968. [LNB]He has been a director at Old Trafford since 1984. Brother Jack made a club record 773 appearances for Leeds and has 35 England caps. [LNB]He had success as manager of Middlesborough, Sheffield Wednesday and Newcastle and the Republic of Ireland. [LNB]Both players starred in the 1966 World Cup win, with Bobby scoring twice in the semi-final against Portugal.[LNB] Charlton away: Jack Charlton of Leeds (left) and brother Bobby in Manchester United red[LNB]John and Justin FashanuThe brothers were brought up by Barnados and later by foster parents. Justin first made his name at Norwich, before Nottingham Forest made him the first million-pound black footballer in 1981. [LNB]But he fell out with manager Brian Clough and a knee injury kept him out of the game for six years. [LNB]The scorn poured on him after becoming the first professional footballer to come out as gay made him a tragic figure long before his suicide in 1998. Brother John Fashanu was most famous for his spell at Wimbledon, where he won the FA Cup in 1988 and scored 107 goals in 276 league games. [LNB]He played twice for England but will also be remembered for hosting Gladiators and being cleared of match fixing charges.[LNB] Fashion show: John Fashanu (left) tackles a young Gazza and Justin (right)[LNB]Gary and Phil NevilleAn inspiration to the Da Silva brothers, perhaps. Both defenders progressed through the Manchester United youth team, although only Gary ever nailed down a permanent place in the side. He became captain after Roy Keane left in 2005-06 and has made more than 500 appearances for United. [LNB]Brother Phil was a well-respected utility man at Old Trafford but was never rated quite as highly. [LNB]Made the right decision to leave in 2005 and has impressed in David Moyes' Everton team. Would have been a tough moment taking a penalty against his old comrades in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.[LNB] Brothers in arms: Manchester United captain Gary Neville (right) and Everton counterpart Phil Neville walk out with the mascots ahead of the Barclays Premier League clash at Old Trafford[LNB]Frank and Ronald de Boer Rafael signs up till 2013 at United after thrilling boss FergusonIs Giggs the worthy winner? [LNB]They both made their names at Ajax before becoming part of Louis van Gaal's Dutch invasion of Barcelona. [LNB]Soon after both ended up at Rangers before going to play in Qatar together. [LNB]They also played together for the Netherlands over the course of a decade, with Frank earning 112 caps and Ronald 67. [LNB]Frank, a left back, is best remembered for his inch-perfect 60-yard pass to Dennis Bergkamp to score in the quarter-final of the 1998 World Cup against Argentina, while Ronald played in midfield.[LNB] Barca boys: Dutch twins Frank (right) and Ronald de Boer pose at Camp Nou[LNB]John and Charles SutcliffeThey hold the (admittedly fairly obscure) record for the longest period between two brothers appearing in an FA Cup final - 31 years. [LNB]The Sutcliffes were both goalkeepers. John was unfortunately between the sticks when Bolton were thrashed 4-1 by Notts County at Goodison Park in 1894,  whereas Charles played for Sheffield United in their 1-0 in over Cardiff at Wembley in 1925. [LNB]John, who also played for Millwall, was the last man to play both football and Rugby Union for England.[LNB] Rafael signs up till 2013 at United after thrilling boss FergusonIs Giggs the worthy winner?
