Obertan targets improvements

Gabriel Obertan is looking forward to an extended run in Manchester United's side after making his league debut in Saturday's win over Blackburn.[LNB]The former Bordeaux winger Obertan should have marked the game by finding the target but squandered two gilt-edged chances.[LNB]Obertan, now fully recovered from a nagging back injury, was one on one with Paul Robinson but saw his weak shot blocked by the goalkeeper.[LNB]Then the 20-year-old found himself clear yards from goal following a square ball from Antonio Valencia, only to find the wrong side of the post.[LNB]He said: "I was a bit disappointed but I have been injured for four months. I think it was a good debut, I ran hard and tried to do my best.[LNB]"I was a bit nervous but I really enjoyed the game, everyone was behind me and encouraging me, so that was good. I need a bit of rhythm, a few games to be fully fit. I think I will be better after a few matches."
