Manchester United winger Nani took some stick for his theatrics at Old Trafford yesterday, but there can be no doubting his influence when he's not on the deck.

The Portuguese star has laid on five Premier League goals for his team-mates this season - in just four appearances.

Alongside Nani at the top of the assists chart is Chelsea's Didier Drogba - who set up Florent Malouda for his second against Blackpool yesterday.

With five goals and five assists so far, Drogba is unsurprisingly ranked No. 1 in the EA Sports Player Performance Index.

Premier League assists 2010/11

5 - Nani (Man Utd)
5 - Drogba (Chelsea)
3 - Matthew Ethrington (Stoke)
3 - Sebastian Larsson (Birmingham)
3 - Paul Scholes (Man Utd)

Surprise Surprise

Would it shock you to learn that Kevin Davies leads the Premier League in fouls this season? We thought not.

The Bolton striker has racked up 19 fouls in five games thus far, picking up four bookings along the way. He's well on the way to breaking his discplinary record of 10 yellows and a red in the 2006/07 season.

Davies' Bolton team-mate Fabrice Muamba is next on the list with 14, while Andy Carroll and Nikola Kalinic are doing their bit to maintain the stereotype that strikers can't tackle.

Premier League fouls 2010/11

19 - Davies (Bolton)
14 - Fabrice Muamba (Bolton)
13 - Andy Carroll (Newcastle)
13 - Stiliyan Petrov (Aston Villa)
12 - Nigel De Jong (Manchester City)
12 - Nikola Kalinic (Blackburn)
12 - Alex Song (Arsenal)
