No driving ban for Welbeck

Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has escaped a driving ban after committing a speeding offence.

Welbeck was caught doing 82mph in a 50mph zone and Manchester magistrates have given the United star a £65 fine, £360 costs and ordered to pay a £15 surcharge.Welbeck escaped a ban even though he initially denied the charge and also refused to pay an on the spot fine.He did however get three points on his driving licence.
