Neville hopes to see Becks in the city
Gary Neville is crossing his fingers old friend David Beckham will make his testimonial night perfect by donning the Manchester United kit once more.
Beckham is due to give a formal response next week but all the indications are the former England skipper will play against Juventus on May 24, a repeat of the epic 1999 Champions League semi-final.
It would complete a full `Class of 92' line-up, with Nicky Butt and Phil Neville already accepting an invitation to join Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, who remain members of Sir Alex Ferguson's first-team squad.
"I couldn't ask for more than to have all my friends back for one last time," said Neville.
"It will make the night even more special for me and I hope the fans will enjoy seeing them back too.
"They were special times for us, we were young lads fulfilling our wildest dreams and hopefully we will get to experience that again against Juventus."
