Napoli join race for Sanchez

apoli have made an offer to sign in-demand Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez, Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo has revealed.[LNB] The Naples outfit are in the Champions League next season and have joined the race to sign the highly-rated Chile winger.[LNB]Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Inter Milan are also interested in the 22-year-old, who is under contract with Udinese until June 2014.[LNB]When asked about the chances of Sanchez joining Napoli this summer, Pozzo said: "Nothing is impossible.[LNB]"(Napoli president) Aurelio (De Laurentiis) has pleasantly surprised me because he wants to achieve big things and wants to win the scudetto.[LNB]"He has made an interesting financial offer for Sanchez.[LNB]"The deal would be complicated.[LNB]"We will have to wait until the Copa America is over and then consider how many pretenders there are and how many clubs are really interested in Sanchez.[LNB]"We need to understand who the real suitors of this champion player are.[LNB]"We have spoken to two clubs but nothing serious has come out of it.[LNB]"Napoli are interested and De Laurentiis has made an important offer.[LNB]"But in order for the deal to be completed, the three parties have to be in agreement.[LNB]"Hence, we will wait until the end of the Copa America."[LNB]Sanchez, who is valued at 50million euros, is currently on international duty with Chile.[LNB]Napoli are also in negotiations with Udinese over the signing of Switzerland midfielder Gokhan Inler.
